The T/O bearing (depending on the tractor) may be riding on a clutch release arm that is out of adjustment. This causes the bearing to touch the single wear tip, and wobble making noise. When pushed in, the bearing uses all the tips, making no noise. A worn disk with some parts missing will also give this symptom. Check the Freeplay, and increase it just a little. If it goes away, I would look toward the finger adjustment, or the disk. A worn pressure plate pivot will also cause the misalignment of the tips. JimN
