Unless it's status has changed recently I beleive it was on hold but there were certainly enough models built up to do the show circuit this past winter. I saw one at the local farm mech show.
What nobody has mentioned so far is that it is a Boomer compact, but a boomer with one very critical difference... the Boomer 8N has a CVT (continously variable transmission). As far as I know it's assembled in Georgia from ISM components shipped in japan.
This 8N will no doubt work circles around the original and be more efficient in doing it... but there's a big price difference I'm sure.
