my first car was an 82 Delta 88 with that diesel. My dad gave it to me at 80,000 after replace some sort of nylon washer in the govenor, for the second time. I replace the washer again at 120,000 miles. I then traded the thing in for an 88 Ford Festiva. Not a comfortable as the Olds, but it took the rack of a six point buck in the transmission to kill that little car at 140,000 miles. That Olds was the first and last GM for me. BTD
