I was referring to the 350 diesels from the late 70's. The 350 cid diesels were redesigned in the early 80's. I know a number of people who have gotten excellent service out of these redesigned engines. This just reinforces my original point, which is that when a gas engine is converted to diesel, the components need to be beefed up to handle the pressure.
