Thanks, the tractor next to the F-20 is my Dad's 1933 Farmall F-12, it may look like a F-14 from there because the steering post was at one time raised up, but it is a F-12. My Dad had that F-12 when he was even younger than me. It was the first tractor that I drove with my Dad. My Dad bought it for $100 when he was a kid and it was in tough shape, my Grandpa and my Dad fixed it up and got it running. My Grandpa died in 1998. After a while after I learned to drive it, the tractor started to run bad, Dad thought it was a bad valve, so took the motor apart and then never got around to fixing it, now its stuck again, but we plan to have it running again soon. For painting, I used to use Dura-Shield IH Red #4205 from L&M, but now they don't have it anymore. On the F-20, I used Van Sickle Premium Quality CaseIH Red, I think the number is 455 and I think it is nice paint and a nice color red.

The advice is timeless... so although it isn't necessarily antique tractor related, it will be prominently displayed in our archives to honor those who have the courage to ask and those who have the courage to respond in an honest, positive manner.
