Bought and installed one with the roller guides last fall after harvest. Made in Germany. IH OEM cutter bar was doing a marginal job and decided to either replace the whole head or upgrade the sickle assembly. Finally decided that purchasing a newer head might potentially result in more repairs/problems. Many positive SCH comments on other farm forums. So rather than lose 50% of that $6.00 corn and $13.00 bean profit to government taxes, spent it all which included buying a new SCH. Made a small change from the suggested installation by adding a half knife on the end of the right side. Required cutting an extra hardened knife in half and drilling a second hole which was tough. Seems to work good, and if it doesn't cut low enough will consider installing on the bottom side of head, which others have successfully done. However if this is done might need to go back to the standard guides, wear strips, since a bottom installation is not recommended when using the roller guides. So far would give a "thumbs-up".
