I recently had a 76 F-600 that I put the engine in a COE that I had bought. It wouldn't pump gas for awhile after change. Change the rubber hoses at front and/or rear connections. I had to put air pressure on saddle tank before it would pull the fuel up. Once it ran some it was ok after that. Fuel pumps for these engines are not hard to find new. They are different than the p/ups I believe.
