Remove the cable, and move the lever it attaches to to the point that it is touching the fingers with the T/O bearing. Put the cable back on (the lever only) and see where the cable retaining hole is in relation to the hole it was in. if substantially different, I would drill, make, a new mount hole just a bolt hole closer to the lever than the touching point. A longer cable will do this every time. JimN
