Come on guys! It depends on your film speed, f-stop, and shutter speed. If you want a good picture on a very sunny day, use a slower speed file, like 100 ASA or less, and a smaller f-stop and short shutter speed. A good rule I learned from a professional photographer once is called "Sunny 16". A bright day calls for f/16 with 200 ASA - Adjust as necessary from there. If you use one of those new-fangled auto cameras, film speed is about all you can change. And flash is used on a sunny day as fill lighting - If you are in the sun and your subject is in the shade. Flash is useless if both are in the sunlight. Shoot some pics and see what turns out and what doesn't. Tommy D.
