Yes, if you cam avoid baffles, a power washer will do a lot for you. I removed the tank from a Farmall 200, upended it, and washed it from underneath, until I only got out clean water. Dry it thouroughly before use. I also modified the sediment bowl at the inlet, with a piece of metal tubing (auto radio antenna) so the inlet is half an inch or so above the bottom of the tank. This keeps the dirt from clogging up the bowl quite so quickly.
