JackE said: (quoted from post at 12:13:55 07/27/09) We have the BEST healthcare on the planet. You don't see Americans leaving the US for medical care in Canada, do you? This aministration does'nt care about you or the healthcare you get. This is all about more and more government control over every aspect of our lives. I read in the paper just this past weekend, The speaker of the house was talking about some day Americans will go in for government screening to be measured on how fat they are. People will be charged higher healthcare rates if they don't meet the government specs. The fatter you are, the more you'll pay. I was in the Navy a few years back, and believe me they had a plan in place on measuring people's body fat. They'll just move that plan into the civilian world. Just like they did with drug testing. You do not want the government micromanaging your life.

What's next, are we all going to be controlled like cattle in Orwell's book 1984. What are we all going to have MANDITORY workout programs. People better wake the he!! up, because that is right where we're heading.

Jack

Hmmmm JackE maybe we are looking at this all wrong. Free health care only for the healthy. If you eat crap food , weigh 250 lbs plus , can't run a 15 minute mile, "NO HEALTH CARE FOR YOU"!!!!!!!! We could have the soup Nazi off of Seinfeld run it. LOL !!!! There isn't a fat bstard that would get to use the health care plan!!! Give them a year to show improvement and if not ya get nothing. Heck i knew lots of guys that never passed the PT tests. You get thrown out eventually.

If ya smoke sorry buddy "NO HEALTH CARE FOR YOU"

Today's Featured Article - Listening to Your Tractor - by Curtis Von Fange. Years ago there was a TV show about a talking car. Unless you are from another planet, physically or otherwise, I don’t think our internal combustion buddies will talk and tell us their problems. But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo. ... [Read Article]
