Interesting reading. As a longtime lurker seldom poster, I see reality is sinking in. Useta you are always levelheaded and consider all things. Spook your posts always smack with reality and balance. The tone is shifting,Reform of this (system)if you call it that is sorely needed. We were already deeply deficit spending on Healthcare. It is indeed a broken system. Funny how so many here get their perks. Conservative as they might be they do not refuse their SS checks etc. This thing is the 900 pound gorilla on all of our backs. Providing healthcare should promote small business creation in the most fundamental way. If the fear of financial bankruptcy-through-injury was removed,More people could get a truck, start a service (mobile tractor repair, tree trimming, smallscale restoration parts making, Widget building etc.)-- That could be your real stimulus thru small enterprise. Historically all market recoveries since 1900 have been lead by Small Capital companies (small caps). The REAL engine of the economy lies there. And Farmer 101--personal responsibility for OUR OWN Health is Definatly an element. Tom you make some valid points, its the way you engage others with malice. Nobody can object to the validity of (some)of your arguments , its the way you beat us over the head with them that makes you reviled.. You Know its a wonder the politicians get any thing done. If Congress was representative of this board, you would have your lefties, righties and INSANEES . Legislation would stall as we Devolved into name calling and bigotry. Open your mind, get informed, park the attitude. Do something positive.

Today's Featured Article - Listening to Your Tractor - by Curtis Von Fange. Years ago there was a TV show about a talking car. Unless you are from another planet, physically or otherwise, I don’t think our internal combustion buddies will talk and tell us their problems. But, on the other hand, there is a secret language that our mechanical companions readily do speak. It is an interesting form of communication that involves all the senses of the listener. In this series we are going to investigate and learn the basic rudimentary skills of understanding this lingo. ... [Read Article]
