Deer trail cameras are great for catching them in the act or finding people where they shouldn't be . They have some as cheap as $45 ,,,higher end ones will have infared flash so not to spook them when pic is taken . I have a couple of the cheaper ones at cabin . Daytime use nobody knows it's there,,nighttime they see the flash . We were going through tons of toilet paper in ouir outhouse, not up there using it that much . Turns out a neighbor was over there nearly everday when we wern't there using it . Got pics of him going in and out . Put couple pics on inside of outhouse for him to see when he was using it ,,,think he got the hint ! lol
