Cub Alternator Conversions

I converted one of my Cubs to 12 volt alternator in order to put flashing warning lights to keep the traffic from running over me. I burn the headlights when on the road and have 55 watt halogen flashing lights on the rear. This is a large electrical load. My alternator has new bearings and is in perfect condition. I cannot find a belt that will last very long. Those who have done such conversions, what belt did you use? Please tell me the size and manufacturer of the belt and the part number,if possible. It would help to know the diameter of pulley you have on the alternator. Thank you for helping me.
