Had a buddy tell me the other day the Almanac said there were two or three days a year you could cut locust trees and them not grow back. He could not recall when it was but was going to look it up and get back to me, I could not find it in mine. He said last year he bush hogged a farm that was getting grown over with honey locust when the book said and went back this year to spray what was left and they were all deader than a hammer.
Wish I was more up on what to do durring the signs but I have to keep the almanac close by. My grandmother that died 7 years ago could cut a twig off an apple tree on the right sign and stick it in the ground just to watch it grow.
