Looks like nice hay. If you got it baled without being rained on, call it a success. What animals are you feeding it to, horses or cattle? Unless it's for dairy, they don't need a lot of alfalfa anyway. As long as the leaves are falling off when your feeding and not in the baler, shouldn't be a problem. Horses will shove the grass hay out of the way and lick up all the alfalfa leaves off the ground first anyway.
How much alfalfa is in the stand? Was it planted this year? Doesn't look like much alfalfa in the hay yet, but it will increase as the stand matures. Did you use a conditioner, and how long did it dry? How and when was it raked and baled?
