Just remember Spook, no matter how good your fences are one kid with a pair of wire cutters can make a hole in less than a minute. Not to mention the ones with 4 wheelers that not only open the gates and leave them upen but also run around the fields scaring the cattle until their looking for that hole or open gate to get away from the idiots. By the time the owner knows the animals are out the kids/adults/idiots are long gone and it's the owner's responsibility for any damage done by the cattle as well as having to fix the damage done to his property.
I've seen and heard of that happening around me more times than I care to think about. Heck even had it happen to a friend of mine. My opinion is that when cought the kids/adults/idiots be tried, took to the square and buggy whipped, zapped repeatedly with a cattle prod, casterated, whatever. Basically do whatever it takes to make an example of them so the next guy thinks not just twice but many, many times before doing something wrong.
