I posted this over on the John Deere Forum but everybody must be on vacation. LOL. I'm helping an friend on pricing a 2520 that is for sale in the area. It is a 1969 Diesel with wide front and one remote. The spindle steering arms are sloppy on both sides, has one bad rear tire and fender and has used truck tires on the front. The sheet metal is 85% straight and the paint is faded or worn off. The muffler is generic. Mechanically it seems to be fair although you can't go far with the bad tire to test it. The seller has not set a firm price, yet. I do not get to see any 2520's sell around here. The few advertised all have been repainted recently with the tires shined up. They all ASK in excess of 10k but I really wonder how many get close to that. My gut feeling is 6000 to 6500 but even that might be high. Opinions?!
