There are 12 bolts and wedge clamps on my 4020 original rear rims. They depend on the V ridges of the rim. That stuff gets in the way of a split rim split in the middle, might work with a three piece rim where only the bead edge is locked in place with a lock ring like my '65 F-350 had, but such a rim won't be cheap or any easier to work with than working those stiff tires onto a standard rim.
There are hub adapters to fit the 4020 axle, 4-3/8" diameter or 3-3/8" diameter, I forget which. Both Deere and aftermarket to fit 8, 9, or 10 bolt rims. You loose a lot of weight without the wheel center, about 500 pounds a wheel. I've seen those hubs at salvage yards in Sikeston, MO and at farm sales. The are often used for duals on steel wheels. It may be possible to put the hub on the outside of the wheel and slide the wheel over the original wheel center to keep the weight of the original wheel centers.
