I can't say yes or no. Compression fittings can be used on a water supply that can have a rated pressure of 100 PSI (city water top pressure) Your boiler is runnig somwhere around 15-30 PSI there should be a pressure limiter on the water supply where it connects to your boiler which should say what it's set at. There should also be a pressure guage on the boiler showing the current pressure. Unless someone can give a good reason or some Code that says you can't I would not hessitate to use a compression fitting on a hotwater baseboard system.
