What do you plan to do with it? If you're working flatland - a tricycle gear might be good. If you're in hilly country - stay away from tricycle gear. What kind of implements do you plan to use? A 3-point isn't necessary if you don't need one but vital if you do. Tracks or wheels? I don't know of a "BAD" tractor but I do know a lot of bad applications of good equipment. If you're going to mow grass, you wouldn't want my MF-2135, with filled tires, but if your going to work a box scraper, you sure wouldn't want one of my Allis Chalmers B or C models. Each are great tractors but with different purposes.
