I spent last weekend at the home of Larry Lietzow in Mantua, OH. Larry is a genius machinist/metal fabricator. He has a collection of rare tractors that he has restored and makes parts for other restorers when parts are not commercially available. From carburetor floats, to intake/exhaust valves, to hoods and fenders, and anything in between, he makes the parts.
Larry took me to the Plott tractor museum in Southington, OH (near where the tractor vet lives). It's about 15,000 square feet of tractors and associated stuff that has been sorted and displayed on metal racking that is 3 or 4 tiers high.
If I'm lucky, here's a picture showing the general nature of the museum. Chuck Plott, the owner of the museum, specializes in Ferguson tractors, but also has other brands.
If you are ever in Northeast Ohio, you might want to drop by the museum. It's open to the public and free of charge.
