Well I took a chance, and soaked a piece of cloth, covered it with a sandwich bag, and put a telephone book on it to help seal, to slow evaporation overnight.
Although some had come off in the first effort this made it much easier to remove enough that it is now very unnoticeable, and at our age not too many people will be staring there anyway. LOL.
We do have a dry cleaner not too far away, but would not let me have the solvent they use, don't know why? all I needed was a little bit. Might be they use the same thing and don't want to let out a secret. LOL
