If you did not grow up in the 60s, you can't possibly under stand the frustration of the young people of the time. I was 1A before I graduated from high school. {DRAFT BAIT} I was old enough to go to war & die , but not old enough to vote or buy a beer. The attitude of the generation in power was fall in line or else. They were the all knowing all seeing adults. We were being sent to the slaughter to make a political statement to the world that we oppose the evil REDS. If you were rich or a politicians kid you could avoid the draft by going to school FOREVER. A deferment it was called. I saw that first hand man!! Student teachers in my Vo Ag class. Wish I had gone to Wood Stock NY just to hear Jimmy Hendrics play!!!!!!!!! Just leave us 60s guys alone, don't judge us. It was a great time, and it was hell!!!!!
