My experience with all-fuel tactors is limited to JD. When working these in the 40's, 50's, and 60's,we used kerosene which was heavier than today's K-1. Maybe today they would call it #2. I believe that K-1 would be a great fuel. Just switch it over when the engine is warm enough. My uncle had a 1939 all-fuel Allis model C which he always started and ran on a mixture of 50/50 kerosene and gasoline. I have not had the nerve to try this with a JD. Most all-fuel tractors seem to have very black exhaust on gasoline.
