Wouldn't be that they added more air pressure to the tires for higher speed pulling? Only reason I ask is that I have a 10 Ton MN running gear that had a 16ft hay wagon on it. This spring I built a new 20ft bed for it and instead of 8 bales I now haul 11. I put the air pressure from 30lbs up to 40lbs to help with the added weight, and now that wagon has a noticeable sway to it when loaded. Never did before. Who knows, anyway I agree with you about not loaning things out. Very seldom works out. Dad, Brother and myself use our equipment. I have 1 cousin also who can use our equipment when he wants. Without fail he'll bring an item back in better condition than when he took it. "Awh, I figured I'd change the oil while I had it here anyway." "Noticed it had a bearing that was a little loud so I quick replaced it." I always offer to pay him and he will never take anything. So, a few are great to loan to, most are not. Had another neighbor who wanted to borrow the cattle trailer to haul a horse for his daughter 10 miles. Two weeks later the trailer had not been brought back so we went looking. Last time I checked Indiana is not 10 miles for Minnesota. That's where it was. Figured since he had it anyway we wouldn't mind. Must have locked the breaks up pretty good on it at one point because we ended up replacing two tire when we got it back because they had severe flat spots burned into them. Also had to weld the swinging divider door back on and weld a safety chain back on from turning to short. We were not impressed!
