Hi, Last year I bough a John Deere model 710 the previous owner gave me a replacement power steering cylinder to replace the one on tractor which leaks. I installed the new one but it does not work properly. It is a cylinder with integrated actuator valve when the steering link push forward the tractor turns right when pull backward the tractor turns left. There is an Allan screw aprox 1/4" diameter screwed in the valve actuator and it is in a semi circular slide it limits the valve rotation to aprox 1/4 of a turn I wld like to know the purpose of this screw it seems to limit the control valve movement.
