Super 88 diesel; Cracked Block

The block on my super 88 diesel has a horizontal crack on the left side of the engine, right behind the starter, it is at least a foot in length. So far I have tried welding with Nicast rod, JB Weld, engine block sealer, and Aluminum radiator sealant. Nothing seems to work. Does any one have any suggestions or tips other than getting a new block? Thanks
