The nine replacement heifers I have here behind the house have fence row with tall trees around it on the west side of their lot. Every afternoon they lay under the trees and when the sun starts going down they line up shoulder to shoulder and eat right at the edge of the shade. As shade starts getting bigger faster they walk faster. I thought that was pretty smart for a bunch of little girls.
