If you like a really sweet sounding truck, here is what I had done to my 05 F150: Muffler shop cut off the pipe just in front of muffler leaving both cats on. Came rest of way back with duals with no muffler. Cats reduce sound somewhat and every guy that rode with me loved it. Never had any check engine light issues. Traded for a 09 recently. Have not messed with it. It only has 1 cat (I think, but I have not crawled under it).
