It all depends on the situation from customer to customer. I charge a buck a bale to mow, rake and bale or pay a buck a bale and I keep the hay and then sell it for $4 per bale. For those who keep the hay I drop it on the ground and they pick it up. It depends a lot on how much you have to pay for equipment and what the hay situation or demand is in your area. There are lots of horses around here that never get ridden. I don't make a lot because I don't do a lot, kinda a hobby. Good luck.
