I have a couple of old tractor / car photos that I thought that I'd share with everyone . They were taken at a festival called - Cruise Into Fall - that they have every year here in Glasgow , Ky. I do not know any of the tractors or cars specs. Nor ,do I know the owners of them , so I hope that they don't mind me posting the pictures of their machines, if they was to see them on here. The pictures are three - five years old . There is a slim, long bearded guy in two of the photos. That was a friend of mine named - Bobby Joe ( Cotton ) Tucker . He and I started going to these festivals together about five years ago . He was like a father / friend / car mechanic and mentor to me . But , unfortunately , he is no longer with us. He died of pancretits on July , 24 2007, about four months after my oldest sister died of cancer on April , 7 ( Easter Weekend ) of the same year . He was a darn good auto mechanic and an all around mechanical " fix it guy " . I was honored by his family to be a pallbearer at his funeral, my first time of being one. There is about ten pictures all together that I'm posting on here , so I will divide them up to make the post shorter. There are more pictures of the same event that I've got ,so if you'd like to see them , just ask and I'll post them as soon as I can ( mostly old cars ,though ). These two pictures are of some old tractors and one is a close up of a John Deere . It is about a 1940ish model , I guess. These small town festivals in this area are getting ready to come up, so I'll try to attend these and take more pictures to post , if I can. Please reply and tell me more of what you think .
Thank You, Whixkidkyus
P. S. These pictures are posted in memory of my old friend, Bobby Joe Tucker . He loved these events and since they are getting ready to start up again , I thought that I'd post them for you to see in his honor.
Bobby Joe - Rest in peace old friend . You may be gone , but I still have the memories.

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
