Kirk, you are doing the right thing by asking first. The thicker sheetmetal on a tractor is harder to warp but it will warp if not done correctly. Use the lowest air pressure that will blast ok, I like using used sand that has been used at least twice on castings & other parts, I also like using a used gun tip as it spreads the pattern out & doesn't concentrate it in one spot. Keep the gun moving, & on hoods & other sheetmetal with bends try to even out the blasting by spending about the same time on the inside as the outside. If you find that you have changed the shape of the hood etc. you can change it back by re-blasting the inside or outside of the bends to make the bends open or close up. Before you start take a few key measurments & keep checking them from time to time to see if you are starting to warp the metal.
