The best tractor is the one that suites your needs. But remember, an american made tractor will always have a resale value and they were engineered to last. If you buy a Belarus and then find you need to sell it later, will you will get your money back out? Not likely.

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
