Lead additives are only required in Pratt & Whitney or Franklin aircraft engines. So unless you are cruising at 10,000ft with your 50, don't worry about it. Nobody every asks about lead additives for LP, diesel or all-fuel engines. Those engines run and last just fine without lead. Lead does more to shorten engine life than to extend it. Lead additives = snake oil.
