I bought a W-4 in about 1975, also for $800. It was a good tractor for manure spreading, disking, raking, other tag-a-long work. If you ever use it for PTO work, be VERY careful- That seat hanging back there means the PTO front universal is right between your legs if you take them off the upper step (like when you get off the tractor). I had to use it for a PTO baler once in a pinch- I wrapped both pant legs with duct tape, was nervous the whole time.
