Another way that has become more common around here is to pick up a 7' or 7 1/2' plow from a pickup truck and lay the frame attached to the blade in the bucket of the loader. Position it so it clears the the bucket edges on full angle and weld a couple of brackets to the bucket to keep it in place. Plan the brackets high enough so your bucket is off the ground and yet the edge of the plow is touching the road. When you lift the bucket the front lip forces the whole plow to raise. The trip springs on the plow ease hitting stumps etc. If you need the bucket for hard packed ice you only need to remove the pins and unhook the angle hydraulic lines to drop the blade and be back to yur loader.
