After 2.5 hours it had not gone higher then what I had put in. So i dont know what happened because it was not missing and running fine. My suspition is the the key did not get fliped off of preheat or II on the key switch. Beacuse the kids "both close to retirement" left it there while running it for a couple days while I was on vacation? Or could it be my front seal on the pump is leaking? I dont think a have a leaky injectior.
Your thought would help!

I just went through this with my 2500A international ,,not the same tractor but , I pulled my hair out, changed teh seal in teh pump twice, once because it was believed to be the culprit, teh second time because it was still leaking into the crankcase after replaced..
the second time the seal was pushed out a bit,and a injector shop said it looked like a clogged return line or the check valve in teh bottom of the tank,,
I had a bad check valve .. now no fuel in the oil, check you return line , or see if you have a check valve on the return line into the tank,, but my return line is lower than the pump,,, good luckpat
