Great move Karl !!
I do it for the sheer joy of working my property. I take pride in how my land looks and the equipment used to make it so. Using it also to teach my boys that we "don't throw away" broken things, we fix 'em. Grew up as a Quarter Horse rancher in N. Idaho and wished Dad would buy a tractor - no luck. Anyhow, I bought my 550 Dsl 5 yrs ago as a neccesity and not had a regret yet. Now that things are coming together on the home front I plan to use the spare time and wonderful advice from this site for some 550 TLC. Plus, after 8-10 hrs/day staring into a computer I like to come home and just find an excuse to run my tractor. More theraputic than the local waterin' hole. . . P.S. - I should be up in your area mid-Jan on business. I'd like to set something up to transport the spreader/seeder. I'll send email to confirm. Kindest Regards To All,
