I have one that I bought new in 1976 - and still use - that has a Ford engine. As I remember, it is a Pinto engine block with various parts Ford had left over from other motors that they put together and called an industrial engine. I spun a crank bearing years ago when the oil pressure sending unit line broke and ran the engine out of oil. The shop that rebuilt the engine for me used rods out of a 1958 Ford motor. Other than that it has been a great machine. With your serial #, It would have to be an early one - mid 70's probably.

There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard.
