beans late afternoon. They ripened real funny this year, must be because of the cool season we had. Top half of plant is dry and bottom half is green with many green leaves still on. But the pods are ripe and dry all the way down. No way would you think the beans could be dry enough but they tested at 12.7% so I kept going. Man does it take power to get those green plants through machine though. The old 750 has her hands full at about 2 mph. with a 15 ft. platform. Will weigh some tomorrow but they look to be going about 45 bpa. Not bad for as dry a summer as we had here in so. central Mn. Well got to get some sleep so I can stay awake tomorrow in that combine.
