I sold on ebay for over 5 years and when they forced the sellers to accept Pay-Pal, I quit selling. Sellers are not allowed to say that they accept Money Orders and Checks in their listings. However, as a buyer, if you e-mail the seller and ask if they will accept money orders and checks, they will reply either yes or no. You can then pay, based in their answer. Most sellers will say yes. I just bought from 3 sellers and paid with money orders.
If you do get the OK from a seller to pay with a check or money order, be sure to ask the seller for the STREET psrt of his adderss. When an item is sold, Ebay gives the buyer the sellers name, city, state and zip code, but now leaves out the house number and street part of the address.
