The company I work for hasnt hired anyone in nearly 2 years and have no plans to hire anyone. Meanwhile, weve had lots retire plus several quit or got fired. Business picked up some in Sept and they covered it with OT.They expect things to slow down again.
If you are out of work in my area of the rural midwest there are practically no jobs to be had.Two local restaurants just closed and the GM dealer is gone.Lots of empty store buildings just sitting. I think that it will be several years before things pick up much.
