Worked on my uncle and cousin's farm back in the 70's - One had cow/calf herd and one had feeder cattle and hogs. Never minded working with the livestock but liked it better when we baled hay/cut silage or hauled grain. Heck, I even liked 6/12 row cultivating - Remember John Denver signing "Thank God I'm a Country Boy?" Plowing (moldboard or chisel) was always more fun though (4020, 4320, 4430).
Times have changed though, as most days I sit in an office - but do get out once in a while! We ran down to my folks in Lincoln, Ill Sunday and only saw 2 - 80's +/- of corn that had been harvested. Looked like some beans were close but there was a LOT of different color!
