I've owned a 3000 for about 16 years and have never done anything but put 3 batteries in it, replaced the muffler once, and have ran it so hard I can't believe it still cranks and runs, never had to add oil to the engine, never had to use ether to crank it. In my opinion this would be one of the best tractors that has ever been made by Ford, should my 3000 ever die it would be replaced with another one. Have owned about 16 tractors in the last 25 years and the 3000 has been my workhorse that has held up to some long hours and hard work.
