Devin,Where I live, with the moisture in the ground, I need to ted every square foot at least twice. On ground with moisture in it your tractor tires are going to press some of the hay down when mowing so it is very important to have your tedder just scratching the surface as others have said. In order to do this you need to adjust with only the adjustment on your tedder and not with your tractor lift.
