My wife works in one of our area hospitals satellite clinc. There are several Doctors, a Nurse Practioner and a PA. at this clinic. The hospital required everyone who works at the clinics, to get the H1N1 flu shot. Anyone who refuses to get the shot will be required to wear a mask their entire shift. My wife will get the shot but is not happy about it. The Doctor that she works for and his wife who is also a Doctor at another clinc will not be taking the flu shot. They are not sold on the safety of the vaccine nor all the hype about the H1N1 flu. Their school age children will not be getting the flu shot.
I remember getting the swine flu shot years ago when the government scared everbody about what would happen if you did not get the shot. I can recall standing in line for hours to get the shot.
I never get a flu shot and won't be getting one this year. I will take my chances.
