Depends on which John Deere cylinder you have as to how much people will pay, at least around here. If you have a regular Deere tie rod cylinder they will bring a little more than a cross, but from the 2 cross cylinders I bought the chrome on the Deere is a lot better. Last cross 4" I bought if it sat outside with a heavy due the rod would rust. Now if the Deere has the depth control stop on it people will pay though the nose.
Now if you want to see something ridiculous try to buy an Oliver cylinder. The rod is half the size of comparable cylinders of other brands and if the hydra electric thing works it will bring twice what a Deere will. Plus the chrome sucks on those two. Sold a 3" (guessing) that was all pitted but the hydra electric thing worked for $250 to a guy and he was tickled to get it.
