I just saw a ad in a local farm paper here in NY, a guy is looking for a New Idea cut ditioner. I had a NI 272 years ago and I hated the thing. I had to go slow with it mowing, and it cut terrible, sharpening the teeth was a pain. Anyway I got the NH489 to replace it. Can anyone tell me anything these mowers were good for? Or why they were even made? I also seem to think the thing used more power than my 489. Just wondering about them. j
