I just used the front rack of weights on another tractor to push against the bead on a 18.4x38 tire on a JD 4320 a couple of weeks ago and it worked perfectly.
Don't know whether that was smart & efficient or lazy & dangerous, but it worked like a charm! :)
I had the inner tube changed and aired up within an hour working by myself.
